Enclosing one paper of ours on NiFe2O4 ceramics, in this we have used the some different shapes of cole-cole plots, and modeled them, and tried to correlate with he changes in the microsctructure, please go through it, you will be able to understand some explanations based on such analysis
Firstly I would advise you read of lot of good papers, very fundamental papers on understanding the col-cole plots, and what kind of information is dervied from them.
1) you must note that you should have a large number of points, a large frequency range (10-2 to 106 Hz) and measure pure and imaginary part of impedance at different frequencies. The freauency range covered will depend upon the impedance analyser you have. some can go to very low frequencies, in comparison to others. However data atleast from 10 Hz to 106 Hz should be enough. The step size in frequency should be small, as this will give large number of data points, and will be useful to fit the data to a certain model. It is very difficult to explain everything on this research gate platform, but firstly read some basic papers.
