Maybe, you can wash your powders via distelled/de-ionized water while filtering route.
To get rid of by-products, filtering route is applied. At the same time, you can was your powders via water a few times to neutralize the pH.

To reduce pH you have to either dilute (a dilution factor of 10 moves the pH one unit closer to 7) or add acid (H+ ions). What is your understanding and definition of pH?
