Some indicators of governance are:

Knowledge of rules and laws that govern a territory

Institutional coordination

Participation of institutional actors

Involvement of non-institutional actors (associations, NGOs, civil society)

Consensus among the actors

Decentralization

Please note that"sustainable human development" implies "effective, efficient" governance. The question arises what is the relationship -- if any -- between the trajectory of "development" and "governance", from whence will derive some understanding of "sustainable human development"
