I want to perform a TLC with immunostaining but, when I tried to disolve the Polyisobutylmethacrylate beads in Hexane to coat the TLC plante, these were not disolving at all. I tried to crush them before to get a fine powder, but still they don't disolve.
Do I have to heat the solution up or do something else?

In my previous lab we did TLC-Immunostaining often. For that we used a 0.5% solution of Polyisobutylmethacrylate in a mixture of chloroform:n-hexane (1:9).
The way we went was to dissolve the Polyisobutylmethacrylate in one part of chloroform. Once done we would add 9 parts of n-hexane and mix well. That should give you a clear solution, no need to heat up at all. We then stored it in a closed container and reused it many times.
