If you have team-research culture in other Departments then it is easy to develop the same within your Department. Team research centers around broad themes - for example those who are interested in Lean Manufacturing or Artificial Intelligence in Manufacturing or Quality Assurance or Robotics, can come together and identify a specific area and begin working on it.
