How to develop Rain on Snow (ROS) multiple day synthetic hyetograph ?

Environment Canada publishes 1-30 day Rain on Snow IDFs. Development of these IDFs is explained in Watt et al (1989) 'Hydrology of Floods in Canada', National Research Council.

However, I am unable to find a reliable source that explains how one can design a multiple day (>24 h) synthetic hyetograph from these IDFs.

Could anyone redirect me to literature on the same ?
