I want to use PVD depositted gold on a polymer as a substrate but I know those materials don't have the same Thermal Expansion Coefficient, so it induces stress.

Is there a way to know the thickness from which the top of my gold layer is not influenced by the polymer (and the stress associated) anymore ?
