I have collected some responses from a questionnaire distributed among teachers of e-learning. now I want to propose some theoretical framework or conceptual framework as the next step of my research. but I don't have any idea what are the steps needed for this. Can anyone help me with this, please?
Kindly refer following few facts in developing a theoretical framework,
Any framework is based on some philosophical or theoretical foundation. You must first figure this out. For example, a pedagogical framework may be based on constructivism or behaviorism. Once you understand the basis, then you can develop implementation plans around it. Having said that I notice people, especially in the field fo e-learning use these words very loosely to mean almost nothing.
To assure good practice, theories, fundamentally, are formulated to describe, forecast, and understand phenomena. The theoretical framework presents and indicates the theory that elucidates why the research problem under study exists. It is also the structure that can hold or support a theory of a research study
1) The scientific way to design a theoretical framework depends on the theoretical issues and the theories available in the respective fields.
2) Secondly, he/she should identify the type of contribution possible in the concerned area.
3) Either to refute the existing theories, addition to old theories or exploration of new theory through scientific analysis.
