I want to filter out some frequency band using filter on microstrip patch. How do I do that?

U mention microstrip patch antenna ?? do u mean a filter for or before patch antenna or u meant microstrip technology ..?
I need to design a bandstop filter integrated with patch antenna...ON THE SAME SUBSTRATE

In my opinion, using Notch filter a bandstop characteristic can be seen in patch antenna. That is creating slot of various shapes and sizes on the patch antenna. Another way may be by adding open stub along the microstrip transmission line. But they are basically narrow band in nature.
Various Filter technologies are available like Lumped Element LC filters, Distributed element filters, Coaxial Filters, Cavity filters etc. You can use distributed element filter is an electronic filter in which capacitance, inductance and resistance (the elements of the circuit) are not localised in discrete capacitors, inductors and resistors as they are in conventional filters.
