You can simply define each electrode using "electrode" statement (i.e. specify their name and position parameters) and then modify their properties using "contact" statement. For example:

electrode name=gate1 x.min=0 x.max=1 y.min=0 y.max=0.1

contact name=gate1 workf=4.8

Mohammadmahdi Khatami Thanks for replying sir, Actually my doubt was different, Suppose I want to define workfunction of gate1 from x=0 to 1 and y=0 to 0.05 as 4.8 ev and for the same gate1 x=0 to 1 and y=0.05 to 0.1 as 3.2 ev. How can I do it?

I think it's not possible to specify different workfs to two parts of a single gate and even in practice you can't connect both to a single voltage. So maybe you can define two gates with two different workfs and then connect the top one to the voltage. But if you really want apply the voltage to the both ones at the same time you can connect them to another dimensionless gate, e.g. a vertical gate on the right.

First, you should define three metal region in electrode statements. After that you define this electode in contact statement as contact its name, workfunction etc..
