During Diffusion test for Semi Solid preparation like Gel, ointments and Cream , what will be the media for this ? Like we use different buffer solution for dissolution, same as dissolution what will be media and how to choose best media for Diffusion test ?

Mostly phosphate buffer, but the best way is to review the literature and evaluate different media mentioned for your drug (or drug class), formula and dosage form.
