I used HYSYS (V9) to simulate the Air separation process. But when I changed the distillate rate of the crude Ar column from A to B, and then changed back to A. the results associated with these two A are different. the purity of Ar is 97% for one A, and 95% for another A. How to deal with this problem? Is this a bug, or it's the solver's tolerance that cause this.

I think this is related to solver' error tolerance. You can decrease the equilibrium and heat/spec error tolerances to obtain consistent results.
These tolerances can be changed at:
Column > Parameter tab > Solver > Solving options.
I suggest using values of one order smaller, compared to the default values.
This problem is solved by reinitializing the simulation, that is, deleting all the previous results.
When there are previous results, the calculation algorithm takes those values to solve the system. Some systems are sensitive to changes in the initialization values and therefore the results may be different.
