I have opened the chromobacterium violaceum culture in Nutrient broth, growth and purple coloured pigmentation was observed after 24hrs of incubation. After 3 subcultures, the bacteria stopped growing in broth and even stopped growing in nutrient agar plates. I also tried growing the bacteria by taking a good amount of inoculum but still i am not getting any results. Kindly guide me in this matter.
