I want to create scenario file using CMIP5 models to use it in LARS weather generator for climate change prediction. Parameter and statistics files used for scenario file creation are different than those described in manual. Kindly tell me how would I use those new files to create scenario file.

LARS-WG5 works with CMIP3 models.
It is better to load CMIP5 models and then you can run statistical downscaling methods, such as EQM, QM, Delta and etc.
When you load CMIP5 models the format of data are in NetCDF (.nc), therefore you need to extract your interest area.
I refer to a website: www.agrimetsoft.com that you can use the "NetCDF extractor" software, for extracting your case study in easy way and receive the appropriate format file, such as Excel, csv, ...

Ma'am I've done all these processes. Actually the parameter file .wgx that is generated in latest version 5 of LARS software is different from .wg file described in the manual which is for. version 3. How can I use this file to calculate the relative change in wet and dry series length. It does not give information about the number of events in a bin which are used for scenario generation.
