I want to check the electrical property of La2CuO4 Nanoparticles. It is p-type semiconductor.
I trapped the La2CuO4 NPs at the electrodes by dielectrophoresis method, as seen in picture.
When I checked the electrical property, the sample has no current, I expected this is because no ohmic contact between my sample and electrodes.
I tried many electrodes materials such as Al, Au, Pt because it has higher work function.
And I also annealed the device first before measurement, but it is still same.
Anyone have suggestions for my problem?

One of the simple way to check is chance the polarity and observe the the current. if it is same it is ohmic. Other reason you do not get current may be due to very high resitance
Did you measure impedance? Is the profile capacitive at all frequencies?
It seems that the deposited nanoparticles may be too loose, i.e., there are contact issues between metal and La2CuO4 NPs, and between NPs. You may need to find ways to improve those contacts to check whether that makes a difference . One example is masking most of the electrode surface (except for the tips), then try to deposit the NPs to make them denser. Another example is put the whole device under pressure to physically compact it some (may be hard to handle due to the small dimension). Just my two cents.

I never checked the impedance of my sample. You are right, I should check it , also with mask that you suggest.

Yes impedance play major role .We have to chose a right instrument with impedance matching. If you put under pressure, heat for consolidation the particle may not in nano size
