I want to create an inductor with a ferrite core of 2.2 mH, but I do not know the size of the core, the number of turns and the size of the wire. The maximum voltage and current of my work are 429 volts and 2 amps respectively .

It is little bit complicated to get exact 2mH in the core. But there is a possibility to get such that in the lab itself. What magnetic material are you using for core. Its depends on the ferrite material. Few years back, we have been prepared some cores in our laboratory. Please see some my papers. You might be get the required information.

the inductor can be calculated using the following formulae:
L = k*µo*µ*n2*A/l
Herein means: k a factor depending on the ratio l/d with l the length and d the diameter of the inductor:
l/d: 0,1 0,5 1 5 10
k : 0,2 0,5 0,6 0,9 1
µo: permeability of vacuum
µ: relative permeability
n: number of turns
A: area of section
l: length
