I have a Fortran code for one of the solar collectors named "Unglazed transpired solar collector" i.e (https://sel.me.wisc.edu/trnsys/trnlib/solarcol.htm)
My question is: how to build a new component in TRNSYS using this code and description?

You can use TypeStudio (it is part of the TRNSYS 18 software suite). For detailed information, refer to TRNSYS Manual Part 7 - Programmer's Guide. Section 7.2 provides an introductory part and information on how to write and compile a new TRNSYS type/component.

Using Fortran for your component, after defining the inputs and outputs from the 'new component' part, you will need a compiled DLL code that you can export from Fortran.
However, since you're using Trnsys 18, an easier way is to build your component via Type Studio (included in Trnsys 18)
