Greetings everyone,
I hope somebody can help me with this question. I wish to couple Explicit module with Static structural (in Ansys WB 19 or 18.2) ... or perhaps transient structural ... or with any other module which could eventually lead to Modal analysis (or equivalent). How to do that?
As it happens, some metal forming processes are better simulated with explicit methods. In order to analyse the springback, the result of the last (explicit) loading step is imported into an implicit step (static structural). I have done this previously by using Abaqus, but, I cannot figure out how to connect the explicit and static in Ansys WB.
can anybody help me?

Thank you for your answer. There is a way via stress mapping!! Individual results (stresses, strains..) need to be individually exported from Mechanical as an ASCII text files.Then the workbench component EXTERNAL DATA is used. Results are imported into this component --> which is then further linked to the Setup in other modules (such as Static Structural).
I just have to figure out which results should be individually exported/imported. In my opinion the Vector principal stress (which contains all normal and shear components). The same with Vector principal strain. if forming proces is simulated in static structural and results are then transfered into another static structural analysis ... then maped stresses in the second model should be the same as the original. I do not quite know yet what this means if explicit results are transfered into a static structural --- effect will probably not be the same (?)
