Good day to everyone,
I have designed scaffolds with varying unit cell size. My file is in the .stl format, and while running the simulation, I am seeing some difficulties with the meshing. Consequently, for this, I require a solid file.
I would like to know which software should be used to convert the .stl file into a solid file.
Please note: the .stl file size is around 145 -1 70 MB

Dear Raj Kumar,
I have not yet dealt with the particular task you mentioned. However, most 3D CAD systems (e.g. Solid Works, NX, etc.) can create a solid model from an STL file. Problems usually only arise if the surface is not closed.

Actually I have the scaffold with complex structures, that's why I'm facing this problem and not able to convert it into a solid file.
For the same structure, I also written the MATLAB code but file still generated in .stl format, and again the same problem is coming while doing the simulation.
If it is possible, can you please suggest how should I re-modfied the MATLAB code such that the file will generate in solid file format (i.e. IGES, STEP, INP etc).
