It has been said that there is Speed-Power tradeoff in analog amplifier design. In this way more speed needs more power dissipation and vice versa. In a simple view, transconductance (Gm) is determinative since affects both Gain-Bandwidth and current consumption as speed and power respectively. My question: Is it possible design beyond this tradeoff? in a more simple view, is there any method or circuit design that be in opposition to this statement?
Any explanation is appreciated.
