I'm trying to figure out how to compute the physical gradient coordinate on surface element case with 3D coordinates in Finite Element Method?

Thanks for your reply. I saw the document. But I couldn't figure out the information to compute the physical gradient. If you can give me more details on that or where to look at in the thesis.
