I have a question. I designed and simulated a tunnel diode using ATLAS with varying the doping concentration of P layer. now, I saved every design with its own .in file and plotted the I-V curve for each then export the data into .dat file (I have 5 .dat file by 5 different doping conc "i.e. 5 different designs"). The question is how to combine these .dat files in one graph to compare among them? (Note: Each design has its own .in file.)

You can directly plot these .dat files using "overlay" in tonyplot.
However, as far as comparisons are concerned you can export the data in comma-separated values (.csv) format instead of .dat and then plot and compare in any graph plotting tools like MS Excel or Origin

You can export you data files to matlab and draw them together in one graph.

Both Rajiv Ranjan Thakur and Abdelhalim Sir is right. One way is to write five programmes for 5 different designs in one .dat file with different name in the plot section then in overlay you can compare in one graph.

You can write as many programmes as you can in one .dat file. The only thing is that you should change the name of the file in plot section of every programme of the .dat file. All the files will automatically add in the TonyPlot.

Exporting the data in CSV form and plotting it using MATLAB or any plotting tool is well-known. but It will be good If there is a capability to plot different curves from different (.in files) through ATLAS or TONYPLOT (Each File describes a different design of a diode). It is difficult to plot curves through MATLAB using (.csv file) such as Energy Band Diagram for complicated devices. I guess combining the curves to be (set curves) through the ATLAS command is a solution, is it?

I know the option of overlay in TONYPLOT. My question is, this option works with the files saved in only one directory or works with files by different directories? what I meant is, there are 5 different (.in and .dat files) saved in 5 different directories, the overlay option works with these separately (.dat files)?
Also, can I use (MyFiles.set) to combine the curves?

The tonyplot can plot the files irrespective of the file location.
Just open tonyplot and browse the files you want to plot, and then you can overlay the data for comparative purposes.

Put all the programmes in one .in file with different file name. Strat all the programm with "go atlas" but "quit" at the end only. You can use different parameters or specification in different programmes of one single .in file. All the plots will come in the one graph of Tonyplot. One run of the .in file will provide you all five results.
