I was trying to fit the optical data of a material in Ansys FDTD. When I used imaginary weight 1, fit tolerance 0, and max coefficient 16, the fitted graph appeared as Figure 1 and 2 respectively. The standard and weighted RMS error was 0.287452. However, as seen in Figure 2, the "k" value is very small compared to the "n". So I increased the imaginary weight from 1 to straight 10, and the fitted figures generated as Figure 3 and 4 respectively. The standard RMS error was 0.405174 and the weighted RMS error was 0.0410353. My question is, which one should I use for the simulation?

But in that case, the modeling for n doesn't match the experimental pattern. Although it has been mentioned in the ansys tutorials always to try to fit the modeling of that parameter, which bears smaller values but won't this affect the transmittance spectra recorded by the monitor?
