I was trying to fit the optical data of a material in Ansys FDTD. When I used imaginary weight 1, fit tolerance 0, and max coefficient 16, the fitted graph appeared as Figure 1 and 2 respectively. The standard and weighted RMS error was 0.287452. However, as seen in Figure 2, the "k" value is very small compared to the "n". So I increased the imaginary weight from 1 to straight 10, and the fitted figures generated as Figure 3 and 4 respectively. The standard RMS error was 0.405174 and the weighted RMS error was 0.0410353. My question is, which one should I use for the simulation?
