Federico Svarc , Sir I am synthesizing CaCO3 particles by hydrothermal and I used calcium nitrate and urea as the precursors along with PVA/ PVP/SDS as surfactants. I also prepared Calcium oxide particles by calcinating the prepared CaCO3.

I bet you could use complexometry (EDTA) to titrate Ca+2 into the supernatant.
