I am looking for a method to calculate citations from the Google Scholar database excluding the self citations. I can do it if I check each and every publication however it will cost my time. I am searching for some methods to calculate for a group of articles. Any help will be appreciated.

Unfortunately, Google Scholar does not provide an option to automatically exclude self-citations when calculating citations for a group of articles. However, there are several tools available that can help you to exclude self-citations from your calculations by parsing your Google Scholar profile or publications. One example of such a tool is CiteRanger, which is a free web application that can help you to generate citation reports for your publications, and which allows you to exclude self-citations. Other tools that can be used to exclude self-citations include Publish or Perish and Web of Science.

Once you have your publication list, you can upload it to the tool and customize your citation report to exclude self-citations as desired.
