The BJH method is the appropriate method to measure the mesopore (2nm-50nm). In particular, the method is for the distribution curves of the pore volume (or the surface) as a function of pore diameter from nitrogen adsorption-desorption data (isotherm). but I don't know how to calculate the diameter of the pore. Moreover, how do I calculate the volume (or surface) based on the calculated diameter?
The surface area is usually calculated from BET method (SBET) and the average pore diameter can be estimated by 4VT/SBET ratio (VT Total volume and SBET surface area). Also, the mesopore volume can be obtained by difference between total pore volume and micropore volume.
