Hello,

I have following parameters of the laser:

Speed of laser beam = 2 mm/sec

Duration of 1 pulse = 1.5 ns

Frequency or pulse repetition rate = 300 kHz

Power of the laser = 5.75 W

I've calculated already

1. Energy per pulse already: E = 5.75W/300 kHz = 0.019 mJ per pulse

2. Peak pulse power: P = 0.019 mJ/ 1.5 ns = 12.8 kW

Now the parameter of Speed of laser beam should be used to calculate the Maximum energy per pulse (in J/cm2) but with this strange units for the beam it is not straightforward for me how to do it?

Thanks in advance!
