In defining materials like "graphene" in CST, you will be provided a definite temperature option. In the case of other materials, you can change the material properties from the option "Materials Properties" and define the thermal properties you want to work with. Like thermal conductivity and other stuff.

It depends on the kind and the goal of the simulation you are carrying out. For EM-Thermal coupled problems, you can go to the Home tab -> Simulation Project -> EM-Thermal Coupling. Then, after creating your coupled project, it will be generated two files: an EM and a Thermal simulation. This last one uses the results from the EM simulation to calculate temperature and heat flow. You can also define the ambient temperature in the Solver Setup of the Thermal simulation file.

Basically, it is a multi-physics problem/solution. The losses in the EM simulation are considered heat sources for the thermal/heat flow simulation. Different solver engines and mesh algos (incl. boundary definitions) are used for the EM and thermal solvers.

How to get transient response. That is the graph between time and temperature.

While working for transient , I get only the starting temprature. Not the raise in temprature with time. Where I am wrong please help if anyone knows

what is the boundary condition? How an antenna designer can choose that one in the thermal simulation? Like what is the importance of isothermal, adiabatic, open nd open add space boundary conditions?
