I have PTC math cad software to calculate particle size using Raman analysis. I read more references related to these topics, I got ideas about theoretically. however, I don't know how to play Mathcad to find out particle size. so, plz help me to learn Mathcad to calculate particle size using the Raman spectrum.

Raman frequencies can be impacted by the size of the particles and structures we study. However, to determine the particle / structure size requires models that predict the shift in frequency that could be used to arrive at a conclusion about the particle of structure size. The basic mechanism behind the Raman line shifts with changes in the particle size is still being studied. Some attribute the shift of Raman spectra in nanocrystals to two overlapping effects: the quantum effect shift and surface effect shift such as that described in: https://www.nature.com/articles/srep20539. There are also models that can be applied to similar properties in special cases such as models that helps determining the diameter of the carbon nanotubes by correlating that with the Radial Breathing Mode (RBM) of CNTs (See for example: https://science.sciencemag.org/content/275/5297/187.full). In any case, the size measurement using Raman scattering is done by correlating the shift in Raman mode using theoretical models, as supposed to cases when such properties might be measured more directly through imaging (TEM, AFM, etc.)
