Hello to everyone,

The Pt shell can be controlled/conformally deposited on core materials to enhance its performance while reducing its loading.

As far as i know, we need to calculate the thickness of Pt shell first and then divide the thickness by lattice fringe spacing to get number of layers of Pt.

Here, i would like to ask from the researchers that,

1) How can we exactly calculate the number of atomic layer(s) of Pt? Please make me clear and give me some examples if possible.

2) Furthermore, how can we calculate the thickness by TEM images?

Thanks:
