I am using 25 wt% of ammonia water for OFET based ammonia sensor. In the equation for calculating concentration of ammonia in PPM,One Mass ratio term is there( Mass of ammonia in ammonia water). Other parameters in the equation are density of ammonia water, molecular weight of ammonia,Volume of the container, injected volume of ammonia water and molar volume. My doubt is how to calculate the mass ratio of ammonia in ammonia water.
the equation is given below
concentration Of ammonia in PPM = density of ammonia water x volume of injected ammonia water x molar volume X mass ratio of ammonia water X 106 /(molecular weight of ammonia X Volume of the container).
Where the density of NH3.H2Ois (0.91 g/mL) , The volume of the injected NH3.H2O is(10 μ L), (17 g/mol) is the molar mass of NH3, (22.4 L/mol) is the molar volume of ideal gas, and (1.2 L) is the volume of the plastic container.
