I want to correlate gene expression values of a same gene across different genotypes to check wheather the gene is closely correlate or least correlate or negatively correlate with the genotypes? Is there any online tool available or can I do this in excel?
Rupam Kumar Bhunia There can be several possibilities to analyse correlation, if you know what to do and what to expect. Its not like any universal analysis which can be taken from some paper or anyone's suggestion here which you can use and get the results.
For every kind of gene and its interaction, knowledge about the gene and its effect is most important and so does the organism.
So in conclusion, you need to discuss this thing with your supervisor and some statistician who can design the statistical analysis framework based on which you can use excel, R or any other software of your choice.
