The energy absorption from a load-displacement diagram is the area under the load-displacement curve. To calculate it you need to integrate the load with respect to displacement. This can be done using the trapezoidal integration rule that approximates the area under the force-displacement curve, and then calculates this area. In your case, you need to approximate the area between each two displacement points and calculate the area between them(energy absorption), then following the same procedure you calculate the small areas between all the displacement points. Finally, you add them up to get the overall energy absorption. The trapezoidal rule is as follows:

Energy absorption = 0.5 * (d2-d1) * (F2-F1)

Where d is the displacement point, and F is the force/load at this displacement point.

Alternatively you may use OriginPro software to calculate the area under curve.

I suggest the use of the Trapezoidal rule. You can achieve that by doing the calculation in MS Excel. Follow the procedure suggested by Sami.
