For more efficient work, collaborations are very necessary. Which type of approach will be effective for this?

I am seeing 2 situations.
1. You have a research topic (ideas) and want to collaborate with a particular group
2. You are interested in a particular research and want to join a research group.
In this platform (researchgate) you can invite invite research to join you in your quest or you can request to join a team, lab or project here.
Obviously you need to engage with the head of the team if you want to join and discuss what you are bringing in the same way you will have to select who works with you in your project.
So communication is very essential.
Muhammad - perhaps the best approach is to contact the lead investigator in the first instance. Telephone or face-to-face (video-conference) is usually best in the first instance. This is by means of initial introduction - which may lead onto more information being requested. The intention is carefully considered ' bullet points' of what you already know about the research team, it's past outputs and current direction - and what unique skills you could bring to the team dynamic. Failing that - sending a full CV/resume and cover letter (to the same affect as bullet points) may result in positive feedback - or suggestions.
Maybe a gentle invitation or expressing your willingness to do collaborative research work through email....

You just need to be in touch with the team you are interested in doing research with and discuss with the team leader how you can contribute.
Try to arrange an interview with the head of the research team that you want to join, expose why are you interested in joining the group and how can you contribute whit their research.
