I need to analyze microbial kinetic data obtained at varied time periods. That is every day measurements at first week, then once in two days for another week, next once in five days for one month and finally once in a week. Can anyone suggest to analyze this data. Can I directly use repeated measures analysis technique. finally i want to fit data to the first order kinetic equation or mixed (first order and zero order).
You can analyse these data by a random. effects repeated measures model.The structure is the sequence of repeated measurements ; 1st, 2nd etc at level 1 nested within individuals at level 2; hence the epithet multilevel. And elapsed time is included as a continuous variable in the fixed part. The random part is unexplained variation between individuals and within individuals over time.
