I am working on a 2x2 microstrip patch antenna design using HFSS software. I have completed the design of the antenna. I want to somehow add switches to the feed strip of each of the 4 individual microstrip patch antennas. The purpose of adding switches is to turn on and off the individual antennas in a 2x2 microstrip patch antenna.
I have read in some research that a pin diode can be used for switching. I have no idea how to do that in HFSS. I will be grateful if I could receive some help.

You can run a co-simulation between HFSS and Circuit, where you add the PIN diodes in Circuit. Here are some steps to guide you in this:
1. Add Circuit/Lumped Ports in HFSS at the location(s) where the circuit element(s) (e.g., PIN diode) would go.
2. Run the HFSS simulation.
3. Go to Circuit and import the HFSS results (I think it's Circuit > Add SubCircuit > Add HFSS Link)
4. Add ports as needed.
5. Add the PIN diode (ideal or s2p file) between the "Circuit/Lumped Ports" in the imported HFSS model (in other words, between the ports that you defined as Circuit/Lumped Ports in HFSS).
6. Add "Analysis" to the Circuit design, preferably the same as what you used in HFSS.
7. Simulate. You can now view S-parameter results in Circuit.
8. If you want to view field results, you need to add a "Source" to one of the ports in Circuit, you can then right click on the HFSS model and "Push Excitation", now you can view field results in HFSS.

simply add rectangular strip and assign on/off state equivalent circuit parameter values of your chosen switch.
Please use PIN diode as RLC lumped element for switching the conducting arms.
I think if you can export the model to CST you can do it very easy
