I am trying to analyze roadkill hot spots using MAXENT.
So as an Input I want to add species MALE female details, along with environmental variables from WORLDCLIM. I have data in EXCELL format.
So, pls give me step by step instruction to add male female details as an ASCII files into the model.

Point of presences in Excel, you will first need to add your data into three columns. The first row of your datasheet is a header line, and should have three column headings titled: Species, Longitude, and Latitude. Longitude and latitude can be 2 substituted with Easting/Northing, X/Y, etc. Once your data in the Excel file are ready, you will need to convert and save it in your working folder as a .csv file. To convert this file to a csv file click File then Save As. under Save as Type, choose CSV (Comma delimitated) (*.csv). Then click Save. Now you have created a .csv file that is ready to be used with MaxEnt.(this step names samples in MaxEnt). Environmental Data in Excel, If your data are in the excel, you must first do interpolation such Kriging and etc. then convert Environmental Data to ASCII format in ArcGis.
