Hi, I'm trying to use the pandas module in an Abaqus script. I tried to copy the pandas package from Anaconda to the path "~SIMULIA\EstProducts\2020\SMApy\python2.7\Lib\site-packages". Although I can import pandas in Abaqus, I get an error "AttributeError: 'module' object has no attribute 'read_csv' "when running scripts.
Does anyone know why this is happening?

In general your approach is correct, unfortunately, this doesn't work with all packages because the Abaqus Python interpreter seems to be somehow modified. A possible solution could be to use an older version of pandas. Try to install the earliest possible version supporting Python 2.7
I assume your on a windows machine now - you could try to switch to a linux machine. The campatibility of the python interpreter here is much better.

Pandas requires the some dependencies, which you must install.
If you installed Anaconda, the following code can be useful:

sys.path.append(r'C:\ProgramData\Anaconda3\Lib')

Before using the above code, you need to determine the installation path of Anaconda. Unfortunately, Abaqus supports Python 2 for scripting, so it is recommended to install Anaconda related to Python 2 and replace it in the path of the above code.
