I am doing buckling analysis of laminated composite shells with different cutouts under axial compression in abaqus . As a shell has different type of geometrical imperfection how can I introduce them separately in abaqus ?
No need for Keyword....u can apply directly in continuum shell property

You can introduce any value of imperfection using " * imperfection " function in the input file of Abaqus software and under this function you can put the value of mode shape and imperfection (i.e. if we have Eigen buckle analysis and we consider the first mode is the failure mode and if we assume value of imperfection is 0.5 mm ) then you can introduce them to the input file at the analysis step as follow;
* Imperfection
1, 0.5
@Ahmad Saddy Mohamad I know how to introduce imperfection for a single dimension but what if I want to add imperfection for both thickness and height of the shell at a time ?
You can do that by modifying the coordinates of the points in the input file.
