I'm working on a MEMS gyroscope design project and need to add free deformation domain to air domains.I have used Solid mechanics(solid)and Electrostatics(esbe) physics interfaces.I couldn't find a way to add it in Comsol 5.5 yet.Any idea would be usefel.Thanks!

Your physics interfaces do not require the air domain, why you need to put deformed domain to your model?
Generally, deformed domain interface needed for large deformation domain during the study or during some ablation etc. In you case, you have just two physics interfaces, which are already fully coupled.

There used to be (2006) a tutorial in comsol how to do this if you did not have a licence to the mems module of comsul, with the licence I think it is just copy an example.
If I remember correctly:
- Model mechanics as you would normally do
- Use the equation solver, to define a potential model to deform the domain in the air gap. input boundary conditions are the results from mechanics model
- Define an Eulerian version of the electrostatic equation on the deformed output of the moving mesh deformed airgap. (This is the tricky part, but was explained well in the tutorial)
- Use the output of the electrostatic model to calculated the electric forces on the mechanic domain.

If you are talking about moving Mesh ALE, there are some tutorials available which model MEMS actuators under electrostatic forcing. I'm not familiar with COMSOL 5.5, but the workflow should be similar to the earlier versions. Please find the tutorial for MEMS module in COMSOL 3.5 in the attached link. The first example itself deals with an electrostatically actuated microcantelver. It have both solid, electrostatic and ALE domains. Hope this helps you!! Best
