How to activate the superelastic behaviour of NiTi in ABAQUS?

I'm modeling the superelastic behaviour of NiTi using ABAQUS (UMAT ABQ_SUPER_ELASTIC). For some reason, the superelastic-plastic behaviour is not kicking in. Is there a specific procedure to activate this specific behaviour?
