No doubt, the promotion of Social Inclusion is the duty of the State. But Corporate Sector may also play an important and proactive role in promoting social inclusion by improving the ability, opportunity and dignity of people who are disadvantaged. Corporate sector may learn various unique challenges faced by various marginalized communities across a country and discover unique ways to support them, in the same way these companies adopt strategies to attract and retain their customers/prospective customers.I think it should be discussed in the light of CSR Provisions.
It is important that the overall strategy that is adopted encourages both a growth in the social commitment of the corporate sector and public sector commitment. In many OECD countries the growth of occupational welfare has been accompanied by spending cuts in social expenditure, de-universalization and extensive dualization across many policy fields.
The main tendancies of the new world of the gig economy don't show a real interest in social commitment, in the contrary. Some examples below show how the platforms are in a logic in which their social responsabilities (particularly in occupational safety and hygiene) are transferred without any help to the workers themselves, who do not have the means to take them into account:

Corporations aim for profit. However, there are creative ways to get it at the same time that social problems are met. Foundations linked to companies can develop Human Resources, which are often more loyal to organizations than staff recruited in traditional ways.
Corporate Sector operates more profitably in living environments with less social problems, with less crime and more socialized workers to market values and lifestyles. it has all the interest that the institutions solve or controll social problems and certainly can contribute to their solution: the goal of creating many more cohesive societies is shared and convenient for its profit
