As such there are no such companies who specially assess fish stocks, for obvious reasons. For fish stock assessment,  Fishery Biologists have to constantly get assessment of numerous parameters right from its availability of feed for its various stages, -season wise, competition with other feeders, their number, fish breeding, recruitments, natural mortality, standing stocks, migrations, behaviour of fish pertaining to physico-chemical factors in sea, year classes available - season wise etc. etc.Only then can they come to any conclusion. Such assessment is done mostly by developed countries - for various reasons, & on the basis of their field (on board) findings, do they spell out anything about fish stocks.
