Highly probable because the multi verse explains both time travel, not changing the past, and self-evident partial free will despite an all knowing creator. To answer your question, first you need to define the Universe itself, if your definition consists of word such as 'everything', then multi universe is not possible, consider a collection of all elements and, having multiple such disjoint collection will imply that the collection does not contain everything,
So, a universe collection of all things, or in other words $U=A \cup A'$
I define a universe as electromagnetically connected space. Under my unrecognized view (Donut Chain Theory), multiverses seem to be required. There can be no meaningful interaction between the many universes because they do not synchronize with each other. The one exception may be GRB's. GRB's seem to fit the requirements needed for two universes to interact with each other, albeit temporary (episodic) and locally violent. There likely are many other views which also lack proof.
