Milling parameters is very importont for final productin. Primarily, you should examine papers with this issue.
Milling parameters:
Milling speed: Generally, speed is selected between 200-600 rpm. It should be note that the higher speed occurs the extreme temperature and temperature is very important polimer materials.
Ball to powder ratio: 10:1 is good, (powder weight in vial x 10) / ball weight = Number of balls
Ball diameter: 5mm or 10 mm is good. if you want to reduction the nano size you should

Normally, you use milling media with a density and hardness higher than the material to grind. You would use mill and ball of agata in this way you avoid contamination of alumina for example ( when used Alubit).The ball size used depends of the wanted particle size final for your material. Generally is used a load composed of different ball size.

Normally you use a material's ball that does not react with the material that you need grind. My reserach field are ceramic materials preferably, I don't known in the polymer composite if you have specific requirements.
@ Fernanda Andreola:- my problem is not chemical reaction it is related to the heating and thermal stress developed in that ball....so for this type of problem how we can selected ball material
