Take 4.15628 g AgCl in water (about 950 mL or you choose required volume), then add NH4OH solution dropwise to the mixture until complete dissolution of AgCl and finally add water to reach the total volume 1 L.
If you use AgNO3, then you have to add two moles of NH4OH with respect to the Ag ions.
Dissolve 0.5 g of AgNO3 in 20 mL of distilled water and to it add enough NaCl to convert it to AgCl. Filter off the white precipitate and wash it for a few times with wster. Then transfer the solid to another container and add dilute NH3 to it until all the precipitate is dissolved and becomes clear solution. Finally add water to this solution to bring it's volume to 100 mL.
