I'm not entirely sure you're approaching your topic correctly. It is not enough to read a few important, highly topical essays. What would be your criteria for this? Because you are writing a research-based qualification thesis, a different, reflective approach is usually recommended. The research field of the digital economy is very complex and interdisciplinary. It includes at least business administration, information systems and communication research.
First of all, it makes sense to determine your main area of study and think about what you want to focus on academically - in the narrower sense. Once you have found good introductory literature, you will come across central approaches, models, studies and essays. On this basis, it is important to systematize the current state of research. Only then can you develop a small, in-depth research question, define the objectives of your study, formulate the working hypotheses, clarify the methodological setting, conceptualize a research design and determine the individual implementation steps to be operationalized.

Christian Filk Thank you very much for your advice, Professor. I will think carefully about the research field I want to do, and read the journals you recommend carefully.
