I’m interested in finding out if and how quantitative data obtained on the basis of perception (what the respondents think about a phenomenon instead of how they are part of the phenomenon) can be used for the following as well as the validity of such use:

1. Draw a statistical inference with the aim of predicting or establishing ranked association between variables.

2. Determine the influence of a moderating variable equally collected on the basis of perception; on the relationship between the predictive and response variables.
