I believe that good research do not necessarily need any software to support. But, indeeed, good software can make the difference in analysis that were not done before. Now that we have the facility to access good software and we have more than 30 times the number of international journals - and more than 20 times the number of scientists trying to publish - the IJ tend to be more selective.

Therefore, the data collection should be geared to the evidence needed to make logical judgements about the addressed prediction. Here, an analytical framework – the methodology for analysing the targeted data by looking for patterns in a systematic and transparent manner – should have a very high priority.
