Suppose you have a laser beam. How much thin it can become by using a set of lenses? I am aware that the laser beam becomes a hyperboloid once it passes through the spherical lens and it has a limit to which its size reduces. There are few articles also on this aspect but I am unable to get a width as predicted by such articles. My goal is to reduce the obtain the beam width as small as possible.
